Flush-panel faux-wood construction designed for contemporary, mid-century, and modern-farmhouse architecture. Horizontal grain options give you the warm-wood look without the maintenance.
Canyon Ridge Modern takes the same multi-layer faux-wood construction as the rest of the Canyon Ridge family and applies it to a flush, panel-free face for contemporary and modern-farmhouse Hudson Valley architecture. Horizontal grain options give you a warm wood look without competing with the lines of a clean modern facade.
Where the rest of the Canyon Ridge line leans into the carriage-house silhouette, Canyon Ridge Modern goes flat — no raised panels, no shutter overlays. The face is a single wood-grain plane (with optional inset panels for subtle articulation), which lets the door sit quietly inside a modern facade rather than competing with it.
It pairs especially well with the contemporary rebuilds and modern-farmhouse new construction we are seeing across northern Westchester and northern Putnam — Pound Ridge, Bedford, Cold Spring, Garrison.
Same composite-over-insulated-steel construction as the carriage-house Canyon Ridge tiers. You get the visual warmth of stained wood — horizontal-grain Ultra-Grain finish — without the seasonal painting, sealing, or rot risk that real wood doors suffer in Hudson Valley winters.
Available with full-view glass sections, frosted glass inserts, or solid panels. Hardware is intentionally minimal to match the modern aesthetic — the door is the design element, not the decorative trim.
Installed pricing varies with door size, stain selection, glass sections, and opener pairing. Below are typical Hudson Valley installs.
Reynolds has installed Canyon Ridge Modern doors across Patterson, Brewster, Carmel, Mahopac, Bedford, Katonah, Mt Kisco, Chappaqua, and into Greenwich and Ridgefield CT. Yes — modern-farmhouse is one of its strongest applications. The horizontal Ultra-Grain finish gives you the warm-wood character that modern-farmhouse aesthetics call for, while the flush face keeps it from looking like a traditional carriage-house door.
